Keys has a short, low effort swing with above-average bat speed. He tore up the patriot league as a sophomore and looked great in nearly a dozen games on the Cape. He handles spin, hasn't struggled with lefties, and checks off every trait offensively. He's shown he can handle the better quality of pitching and has clearly been too much for his small conference. He's a stiff athlete, and might have to move over to first eventually but in a brief look his 45-grade defense is good enough for now. His above-average hit tool and average power could hold down a middle-of-the-order spot in the future.
