Bender might not have a position but he tore up the Cape and flashed above-average power with a much better, more selective approach. He's never seen a pitch he didn't like in Myrtle Beach, hence the extremely low walk rates. He's a pure masher with solid bat-to-ball skills. If his improved approach translates into his junior season, he could jump up into the first round talk. He's split time in left, at first, and behind the plate. He's a 40-grade catcher but probably gets the chance to improve at the pro level. He's destined to play a combination of 1B/LF in the case he doesn't at least get to a 45-grade catcher.
