Phillips is another two-way talent, but is a prospect as an arm. It’s a 93 mph fastball that grades out closer to average for me, with a sweeper at 82 mph that’s drawing 40% whiffs thus far. It’s a velocity differential change-up with poor shape, but the pitch is drawing high level results for him this spring.
