Wills was a draft prospect as a prep, as well as tracking to be a draft pick last summer before missing time. He’s a plus runner who’s spent time playing multiple positions in his 2 years at UNC-W. There’s above-average raw power here, but he’s struggled at times to get to it, showing significant variance in both his launch angles and exit velocities, with the aggregate batted ball profiles being slightly underwhelming. The hit tool is strong, with there being minimal chase and whiffs being under control, which is a positive sign.
