It’s a bit of a funky profile at the plate when you have a guy with >30% chase and only 17.1% whiff. The bat-to-ball skills are plus or better, and he’s able to make up for the swing decisions. The issue for him is that despite having power in the tank, his approach doesn’t allow him to loft the ball with authority. I’m not particularly high on him as a 3B, but I’m a fan of the arm and athletic ability, and think he’ll play a great corner-OF. The key here will be trying to allow him to tap into the pop that he clearly has.
