Paden missed time his junior year but has intriguing fastball traits in the mold of Paul Sewald. He's 22 and a half years old now but could end up being a decent relief type working off his low-90s, above-average four-seam, and his upper-70s sweeper with 19" of glove side break. Both are above-average pitches and you'd like to see him add a third pitch between now and when he debuts. He hasn't performed as well as you'd like but he's a moldable ball of clay for a modern development staff.
