Bryan is a bat first catcher, who has the arm and athletic ability to play as average behind the dish long term. The K rate runs high at 23.3%, which likely stems from an inflated zone whiff rate. For a mid-major player especially the K rate is a slight red flag in my opinion, but the approach is generally sound and he’s got power to all fields with the ability to loft the baseball. I think it’s fair to say the offensive ceiling is around that of an “above-average” big leaguer, as the power and quality of contact provide some floor, with the strikeouts acting as a ceiling.
