Spencer lacks the ideal shape but his four-seam is in the mid-90s from the left side and up to 98. His mid-80s slider is the best pitch in his arsenal, it's platoon neutral with heavy depth and plus command. He has the ingredients of a solid reliever and I wouldn't put a starter's role beneath him as the velo alone opens up the possibilties for added secondaries which reduces the relief risk. He's worked out of the bullpen for Indiana State but that's mainly because he's a two pitch guy and that could change since he's shown feel for spin.
