College Baseball Picks For February 21st

YTD: 4-3, +0.50u

(All bets are to win 1 unit)

*Lines listed are at time of writing. Odds are subject to change*

Bet #1: -116 ML Parlay: Oklahoma & Arkansas

This one is pretty simple, some may call it square, but there’s nothing better than a Friday Ace Day parlay. Oklahoma’s Kyson Witherspoon punched out nine in 5 innings with only two walks while giving up just two runs. That is going to be more of the norm for the Sooners’ Ace and on paper Minnesota’s offense doesn’t pose much of a threat.

Arkansas is leg 2 of this parlay and they will have Gabe Gaeckle starting against Kansas State. In his first 2025 start Gaeckle struck out seven with only one free pass and he didn’t surrender a run. The Hogs watched K-State win the 2024 Fayetteville Regional at Baum Walker Stadium last season. Dave Van Horn’s squad probably has this one circled to avenge that sour feeling they’ve had all offseason.

-116 ML Parlay: Oklahoma/Arkansas

NOON ET: +100 Notre Dame vs Iowa -130 (O/U N/A)

PROBABLE PITCHERS

Notre Dame: Jack Radel (2024: 53 IP, 4.58 ERA, 39 K, 19 BB, 4.96 SIERA)

Iowa: Cade Obermueller (2024: 59.2 IP, 3.92 ERA, 73 K, 41 BB, 3.84 SIERA)

Notre Dame’s lineup has five starters that recorded less than 100 plate appearances last season. That’s not the greatest recipe when trying to take down the uber-talented Cade Obermueller. The Iowa LHP dealt on Opening Day against South Florida.

Obermueller retired 10 batters via strikeout without giving up a run. This will be a low scoring matchup but if the Hawkeye Ace pitches to his caliber, Iowa could score four runs and still probably win Friday afternoon.

The Bet: -130 Iowa ML (Play this to -160)

Good luck to those who tail these College Baseball Picks For February 21st!
